Thailand Government continues to procure another 26 Millions electronic multi-application smart cards for citizen identification to complete the flagship project target launched by the Thai Government with the long-term objectives of developing such applications supports Thailand’s goal to transform and establish processes using the latest cutting-edge technologies to support the current technological infrastructure and social system.

Thai National Electronic Multipurpose Identification Cards entails the development of a single smart card that will support the initial government applications and provide a convenient platform for additional applications in the future.

Challenges.

• To ensure the highest resistance to fraud and counterfeiting, the customized security designs incorporate more security printing to solve the weak point of the first phase. The major security printing adding up is to protect the fraud and counterfeiting of photos.
• Manage to supply the same or better quality cards on the very limited delivery time with cheaper cost.
